 Simple and Comfortable Programming and Operation
The mobile HGT control panel from SIGMATEK performs all control functions for the robot, the gripper and the entire periphery, such as conveyors for example. At the same time, it provides a comfortable operating interface for the robot.
Through the integration of robot control, PLC and Safety in one central control system, the disadvantages of conventional robot control systems are eliminated to the greatest possible extent. A powerful CPU assumes control of the system, all I/Os and the servo drives. Through the enormous performance, it is even possible to control several machine modules and to simultaneously calculate the complex transformation coordinates for a Delta Robot in real time.
The path of the robot, the so-called trajectory, is predefined in the form of linear, circular, spline or point-to-point movements. Blending is also possible. In the conveyor-tracking mode, the SDR Delta Robot grips products from timed or continuously driven bands.
If one also considers the possibilities that come from a uniform, integrated Safety concept, the advantages of an integrated system architecture are clearly obvious. Proprietary and expensive robot controls are no longer required. Alternatively, this integration results in uniform programming and a reduction in servicing.
