1993

	Cutting edge: SIGMATEK is the first company in the industry to utilize the CAN bus      for networking and communication with the MODAS PLC system First foreign distributor: SigmaControl in the Netherlands

1994

	Relocation to the first company-owned facility with space for 100 employees

1996

	SIGMATEK revolutionizes control technology with the DIAS control system, the     DIAS bus and fiber optic data transfer. In addition to local configurations, DIAS     also enables decentralized configuration of PLC modules for the first time. The     DIAS bus (more than 2.5 million I/Os per second) proves to be the fastest network     for many years to come..

2000

	As the first manufacturer of automation systems SIGMATEK presents software for     object oriented programming with Client-Server technology and graphic representation,     the LASAL software. SIGMATEK expands into the heating industry

2001

	SIGMATEK U.S. Automation, Inc. is founded (Ohio) Opening of the SIGMATEK Innovation Center at the     expanded headquarters in Lamprechtshausen

2002

	The C-DIAS control system is introduced to the market: compact design, high packing     density, module carrier with high-speed communication (30 million I/Os per second)

2003

	New developments: C-DIAS with Power-CPU, Compact IPC

2004

	Terminal series with S-DVI connection

2006

	The revolutionary VARAN bus technology is presented: fast,      flexible and safe data exchange in hard real-time SIGMATEK wins the Salzburg Business Innovation Prize for      the “VARAN-Real-Time Ethernet Bus” project

	Opening of the SIGMATEK Ningbo Office, China Headquarters expansion: The construction for Building III begins
