Servo Motors

The synchronous servomotors from the AKM series are brushless, rotary current motors with three-phase windings for demanding servo applications. These motors have permanent magnets in the rotor. The neodymium magnet material and the low inertial torque contribute significantly to making these motors highly dynamic and allow them to have a very low cogging. The robust, compact motors with high power density are available in seven sizes and fine graduations, so perfect customization is possible. Motor and sensor cables in standard 5m/10m/15m/20m/25m lengths can also be obtained.

In the standard configuration, the motors are equipped with smooth wave, IP65 protection, a 2-pin resolver, UL-complying configuration as well as sensors in the stator windings to monitor the temperature.

Additional features such as a fitted key, various sensor systems, stop brake (AKM2-7), rotatable plug, shaft seal (IP67) as well as a rotatable connector and are optionally available.
