DIAS Drive 100 is a very compact and modular servo drive system with optimized power loss that was especially designed for multiaxial applications. Per system, up to 8 servo axes are possible.
Two different power modules are available as well as drive modules in various power classes for one or two axes of movement. The modules are mounted on a module carrier in the control cabinet. The assembly and wiring time is therefore reduced significantly. Depending on the power module and motor type used, the system can be operated in 1-phase with 230 VAC or 3-phase with 480 VAC.
Thanks to the minimal cycle time of the controller, the DIAS Drive 100 has excellent servo properties. Servo, linear, torque and synchronous motors can be controlled and all conventional feedback systems can be used. The safety functions, Safe Torque off (STO) and Safe Stop 1 (SS1), are integrated into the standard system and simplify the integration of the drive technology into the machine's safety concept. With the DIAS Drives of the 100 series, SIGMATEK has the power range up to 2 KW, which is ideal for packaging and material handling applications, covered. The hard real-time capable VARAN bus connects the drives to the machine control.
